Taylor County, FL (October 24, 2024) – A serious traffic accident occurred early Wednesday morning, leaving two drivers with significant injuries. Just before 7 a.m. on October 24, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported the incident at the intersection of Holt Road and Puckett Road.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a vehicle was traveling east on Holt Road while another vehicle was heading south on Puckett Road. The driver of the eastbound vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection, resulting in a collision. The front center of the southbound vehicle struck the left side of the first vehicle, leading to the serious injuries of both drivers.
Emergency responders transported the driver of the first vehicle to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for medical care. Meanwhile, the driver of the second vehicle was taken to Doctor’s Memorial Hospital.
