Temecula, CA (September 13, 2023) – Donald Berg, 63, was killed in a hit-and-run on the Interstate 15 Freeway near Railroad Canyon Road on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
The accident happened shortly before 2:47 p.m.
A suspect rear-ended Berg’s 2006 Yamaha Star motorcycle and fled.
Berg was thrown about 20 feet from his motorcycle onto the road.
Bystanders, uninvolved in the crash, assisted Berg and directed traffic away.
Sadly, Berg died at the accident scene.
Investigators seek a newer-model Jeep Gladiator, identified from scene evidence.
