Teton City, ID (September 13, 2023) – A fatal head-on crash happened on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, on State Highway 33 at mile marker 103.
A Chevrolet Impala, driven by a 75-year-old from Driggs, was heading west.
It crossed the center line, colliding with an eastbound Chevrolet pickup driven by a 78-year-old from Teton.
The Impala’s driver, not belted in, died from injuries. The pickup’s driver, belted, was rushed to a hospital.
The crash blocked the road for two hours. Emergency crews, including Fremont Fire and Idaho Transportation Department, responded.
The investigation is still ongoing.
