Thurman, NY – Four Injured During Minivan Crash with Fuel Truck on NY-418

Thurman, NY (January 22, 2021) – According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, a total of four people were injured following a collision between a minivan and a fuel delivery truck in the town of Thurman. The crash took place on New York State Route 418 at around 10:50 a.m. on Thursday morning, January 21st.

Authorities say that a fuel truck was delivering heating oil to a private residence when the minivan collided with it in the westbound lanes of the roadway. Emergency crews responded to the scene where they transported four people, including a four-year-old child to nearby hospitals.

Both the driver of the minivan, identified as 37-year-old Aaron R. Keith, as well as a four-year-old girl, were taken to Albany Medical Center. They were reported to have serious injuries. Two passengers in the minivan, identified as Kenneth S. Hayes, 47, and Ashley M. Coulman, 30, were taken to Glens Falls Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The present conditions of the victims have not been reported as few other details have been released. The cause of this accident is under investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit.
