Titusville, FL (April 16, 2020) – Titusville Fire Department and other rescue workers responded to a crash that occurred in Titusville Tuesday afternoon that severely injured a motorcyclist involved.
The crash occurred between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle near 486 North Washington Avenue around 4:15 p.m. on the afternoon of April 14.
Paramedics and other first responders were observed assisting those with injuries, and the motorcyclist was transported by helicopter to a nearby medical center for treatment of severe injuries.
It is unclear whether anyone in the car sustained any injuries at this point in time.
The area the crash occurred in was blocked off for a period of time following, and firefighters working at the crash site asked drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel for the time being as they worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the accident and its circumstances will continue.
No further information is available at this time, and the individuals involved in the accident have not yet been identified.
