Torrance County, NM – Crash with Injuries Reported on I-40 near MM 232

Torrance County, NM (July 3, 2023) – A crash reported just 14 miles east of Clines Corner caused delays and injuries, according to officials.

During the afternoon hours on Saturday, July 1, the police and firefighters were notified that a crash occurred on Interstate 40.

A collision on the eastbound side of the interstate caused some disruptions in traffic near mile marker 232 at around 2:20 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene to provide assistance.

Medics cared for the victims who were harmed in the accident before transporting them to area hospitals.

The accident is currently being investigated by law enforcement.
