Trenton, NY (May 10, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, May 10th, a two-car collision occurred in Trenton, resulting in three individuals being taken to the hospital. The accident took place at the intersection of Old Poland Road and Trenton Falls Road around 10:35 a.m.
According to authorities, 31-year-old Savana Sherwood of Poland was traveling west on Trenton Falls Road when she failed to yield the right of way. As a result, her car was hit on the driver’s side by a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jasmine Rodriguez of Remsen. Rodriguez’s passenger, 21-year-old Nicholas Britten of Schenectady, was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Emergency services rushed all three individuals to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital. Fortunately, their injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Sherwood and Rodriguez were both given traffic citations that they will need to answer for at Trenton Town Court.
