Tulare County, CA (January 12, 2025) – A man and a woman lost their lives in a collision involving a big rig on Friday morning in Tulare County. The fatal crash occurred just after 8:30 AM at the intersection of Avenue 95 and Road 256 near Terra Bella.
According to officials, a 54-year-old woman from Lindsay was driving a Honda and stopped at a stop sign before pulling into the path of an oncoming semi-truck. The big rig collided with the side of the Honda, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
The woman driving the Honda died at the scene, while her passenger, a 55-year-old man from Washington State, was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the big rig sustained minor injuries but did not require extensive medical care.
