Upper East Side, NY (April 2, 2023) – A worker was injured as a result of an accident while on the job in the Upper East Side of New York on Wednesday, March 29.
The incident was reported at around 1:40 p.m.
According to officials, a construction worker was utilizing a ladder while working on the Carlyle House during the afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, they fell off the ladder and onto the ground next to a shed.
The worker was injured as a result of the incident. Paramedics responded to the scene to care for the injured victim and to transport them to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
