Upper Marlboro, MD – Tragic Collision Involving Bicyclist near Williams Beanes Rd. and Federal Ct., Claims One Life

Upper Marlboro, MD (July 25, 2023) – The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a tragic collision involving a bicyclist in Upper Marlboro.

The deceased bicyclist is Gregory McCullom, 43 years old and a resident of Upper Marlboro.

The incident happened on July 23rd, 2023, around 7:50 pm near the intersection of Williams Beanes Road and Federal Court.

Officers quickly responded to the scene after receiving the report.

According to the preliminary investigation, the driver was heading southbound on Williams Beanes Road when the collision happened.

Gregory McCullom was also traveling southbound on his bicycle on the same road when the vehicle struck him.

McCullom was pronounced dead at the scene.
