Van Nuys, CA – Fatal Collision on Saticoy Street; Multiple Injuries

Van Nuys, CA (July 17, 2023) – A devastating crash in Van Nuys claimed one person’s life and injured four others, including an 11-year-old child.

Two cars collided on Saticoy Street near Sepulveda Boulevard at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

LAPD Sergeant Jeremy Miller said a westbound white Mustang crossed the double yellow line and hit a gray Audi.

Tragically, a 21-year-old female passenger in the white Mustang succumbed to her injuries.

An 11-year-old girl, a 30-year-old woman, and two 21-year-old men were severely injured but will recover.

Preliminary indications suggest that drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash.

The case is still under investigation.
