Van Nuys, CA (July 17, 2023) – On Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Van Nuys, a wrong-way motorist, possibly impaired, hit another vehicle head-on, killing a 20-year-old woman.
The incident occurred at Saticoy Street and Sepulveda Boulevard.
The crash injured three others, including a child, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Paramedics rushed them to a nearby hospital, but their conditions are unknown.
A westbound vehicle entered the eastbound lanes on Saticoy Street at 3:18 a.m., according to the LAPD.
The front-seat passenger’s vehicle hit a power pole, killing her.
The LAPD arrested the wrong-way driver for DUI.
Investigations is still ongoing.
