Vestal, NY (June 28, 2020) – Around 8:57 p.m. on June 26, four people were injured in a car accident following a chase on a Vestal highway.
New York State Police confirmed that they received calls about a suspicious vehicle and attempted to pull the car over. However, the driver refused.
The driver continued on the road, engaging in reckless behavior and was eventually involved in a crash with a police cruiser.
A trooper, two passengers, and the other driver were all injured and transported to UHS Wilson Hospital for treatment.
Charges are now pending against the driver, 27-year-old Christian Buck. Police continue their investigation into the matter.
