Vinings, GA (December 5, 2022) – A car accident happened in Vinings on the evening of December 5 that prompted an emergency response. Calls concerning the accident were made to dispatchers shortly before 7:00 p.m.

The right two lanes of I-75 were blocked due to the accident. Reports indicate it happened on Interstate 75 between Cumberland Boulevard and Mt Paran Road. An unspecified number of vehicles crashed in the area, causing at least one person to become injured. 

Emergency medical services, police, and fire crews were seen rendering aid at the scene. One or more patients were treated for injuries and transported to local hospitals. 

No one involved has been identified at this time. Authorities in Vinings continue to investigate.
