Virginia Beach, VA – Crash with Injuries Reported on Indian River Rd near Lynnhaven Parkway

Virginia Beach, VA (July 16, 2023) – A crash reported early Sunday morning left at least one person injured. At around 12:38 a.m. on July 15, the Virginia Beach Police Department and the Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to the scene of a car crash that occurred on Indian River Road.

According to police reports, a crash took place on the roadway near the area of Lynnhaven Parkway during the early morning hours. The crash prompted the response of multiple law enforcement agencies, all of which remained at the scene for more than an hour.

Injuries were reported as a result of this accident. The Virginia Beach EMS responded to care for injured victims and transport them to area hospitals.

At this time, the Virginia Beach Police Department is investigating.
