Virginia Beach, VA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on Norfolk Ave near Cypress Ave

Virginia Beach, VA (July 17, 2023) – The Virginia Beach Police Department and emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident that occurred late Saturday evening and resulted in injuries.

At around 10:10 p.m. on July 15, emergency crews were notified of an automobile accident that occurred on Norfolk Avenue.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles in the area of Cypress Avenue. Police and firefighters immediately went to work on closing off the roadway.

One EMS unit was requested at the scene to care for the victims. A Virginia Beach Department of EMS unit responded to care for the victims and transport them to local hospitals.

The Virginia Beach Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
