Virginia Beach, VA – Motorcycle Collision at Kenley Rd & Baxter Rd Results in Fatality

Virginia Beach, VA (November 20, 2023) – A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of Shawn Martin, aged 42, on Friday evening, November 17, in Virginia Beach. The crash, involving three vehicles, occurred at the Kenley Rd and Baxter Rd intersection in the Kempsville Lake area. Police arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m.

Initial investigations suggest Martin’s motorcycle collided with a Honda Accord. This impact caused the Accord to strike a stationary Nissan Kicks at a traffic signal. Martin was pronounced deceased at the scene. The condition of the other involved parties remains unclear.

The Virginia Beach Police Department is actively investigating the details of this fatal incident.
