Virginia Beach, VA (March 18, 2023) – A 14-year-old boy was left with significant injuries following a dog attack that took place in the Virginia Beach area on Wednesday afternoon, March 15.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was waiting for his sister to be dropped off by the school bus when he was attacked by a dog.
Reports indicate that a woman in the area owned the dog. However, a visitor showed up at her home and let the dog out of the door.
Bystanders witnessed the dog mauling the child and rushed over to provide assistance.
The boy suffered injuries due to the incident and was rushed to a local hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
