Virginia Beach, VA (July 13, 2023) – The Virginia Beach Police Department is currently investigating an accident that left one person injured.

At around 8:30 p.m. on July 12, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Diamond Springs Road.

Reports from authorities show that a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a red sedan in the area between Bayside Road in Thurston Avenue during the evening hours.

The incident prompted the response of medical personnel, who went to work immediately to tend to the injured motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are currently being investigated.
