Melfa, VA (January 11, 2021) – A pedestrian sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Melfa on the Eastern Shore on Monday, January 11. The man has been identified as a 33-year-old from Parksley.
Police stated that the accident took place on Route 13 at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes. The man was attempting to cross at the stoplight when he was hit by a car. He required transportation by helicopter to a hospital in Maryland where he is being treated for injuries of a life-threatening nature.
