Prince William County, VA – I-66 Crash Prompts EMT Response

Prince William County, VA (October 24, 2020) – Local first responders in Prince William were called to assist at the scene of a collision that occurred on an interstate today. 

At approximately 3:46 p.m. this afternoon, October 24, Saturday, an undisclosed number of vehicles were involved in a collision that occurred on Interstate 66 at mile marker 46.5. The accident occurred about .5 miles west of VA-234, exit 47 for reasons still being investigated by local police. 

Paramedics were observed at the crash site assisting those with injuries, however, the total number of injured victims has yet to be determined. 

Those involved have not been identified to the public at this time as a police investigation is still underway. 

The severity and nature of any injuries suffered also has not been reported. 

Few details are currently available concerning the wreck and the circumstances surrounding it. 

Two eastbound travel lanes of the interstate were closed for a period of time following the incident. 

An investigation is currently underway.
