Virginia Beach, VA (November 5, 2020) – Three people were injured, one seriously, after a horse-drawn carriage was struck by a Toyota Camry in Virginia Beach on Sunday morning, November 1.
Local authorities reported that the crash occurred early that morning at around 1 a.m. Officials from the Virginia Beach Police Department were called to the scene of the crash near the 2100 block of Great Neck Road. According to local sources, the dark-gray Camry rear-ended the carriage, injuring three of its passengers.
Three of the four carriage passengers were hospitalized for the treatment of serious injuries. One of the injured parties reportedly suffered from life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
