Waldorf, MD – Della Johnson Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on Old Washington Rd near Trade Zone Court

Waldorf, MD (July 7, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as a result of a car crash that took place on Thursday afternoon, July 6.

At around 12:10 p.m., 84-year-old Della Johnson was crossing the roadway in the area of Old Washington Road and Trade Zone Court. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a Chrysler Pacifica that was exiting a business near the intersection.

The pedestrian was severely injured in the accident. She was transported to a local hospital, where she passed away from her injuries.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
