Waldorf, MD – Serious Fire Truck Wreck Reported on Leonardtown Rd near Forest Knolls Place

Waldorf, MD (July 7, 2023) – At around 9:23 a.m. on July 6, the police, firefighters, and EMS responded to the scene of a crash that occurred in the Waldorf area.

Reports show that a red SUV and a College Park Volunteer Fire Department fire truck collided on Leonardtown Road in the area of Forest Knolls Place. The incident prompted the police to shut down the road.

One person was trapped inside the SUV and had to be extricated. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
