Waldorf, MD (April 8, 2023) – A 72-year-old woman was left injured as a result of a crash that took place in the Waldorf area. Just after 11:00 a.m. on April 3, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that had taken place on Smallwood Drive at the intersection of St. Patrick’s Drive.
According to officials, two vehicles collided at the intersection during the morning hours. The impact of the crash sent both of the vehicles, identified as a dark-colored sedan and a black SUV, off the roadway.
A 72-year-old woman involved in the crash suffered injuries. She was treated at the scene by EMS and transported to Charles Regional Medical Center for further medical care.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the incident.
