Warner Robins, GA (March 15, 2021) – One person is recovering in the hospital after a serious traffic accident occurred at an intersection in Warner Robins on Friday, March 12. Reports indicate that the incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m.
According to officials, a Jeep and a U-Haul truck collided at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and 4th Street. The driver of the Jeep was injured in the collision and needed to be extricated from their vehicle by firefighters.
The injured victim was transported from the scene to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon where they are listed as being in serious condition. Their identity has not been released at this time.
The intersection was closed while responders worked to clear the area. Drivers were asked to find alternate travel routes while the scene was active.
