Warrensburg, MO (December 16, 2024) - A pedestrian sustained serious injuries following a crash on Saturday evening in Warrensburg. The incident occurred at approximately 8:07 p.m. on N Mitchell St, 200 feet north of E Gay St.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2009 Nissan Versa, driven by a 47-year-old male from Warrensburg, MO, was traveling southbound on N Mitchell St when it struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. The pedestrian, a 78-year-old female, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment. She was identified as a resident of Warrensburg, MO.
The Warrensburg Police Department assisted at the scene, and authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
