Washington County, VA – Bicycle Crash Reported on Douglas Dr

Washington County, VA (July 7, 2023) – On July 6, emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in Washington County that ended in injuries.

At around 3:00 p.m., a collision involving a bicycle and at least one vehicle occurred in the 300 block of Douglas Drive. The bicyclist was injured as a result of the accident.

Medics were called to provide assistance at the scene of the accident. The bicyclist was then transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
