Washington, MO (November 19, 2023) – A severe accident occurred on Arnault Branch Road near Foxtrot Road in Washington on Saturday, November 18, at 10:40 AM, involving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
Riley Q. Pinson, a 20-year-old male from Cadet, MO, was driving the Hyundai westbound when he failed to navigate a left curve. The vehicle veered off the right edge of the road, colliding with a fence and a tree. Pinson, who was not using a safety device, was taken by private conveyance.
David T. Emberton, a 19-year-old male occupant from Sullivan, MO, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital by Washington County Ambulance.
TPR C.J. Walker of Troop C is investigating the crash. The circumstances leading to the accident are under further review, with additional details pending investigation.
