Watertown, NY (November 20, 2022) – A man identified as 47-year-old Michael E. Worley, from Watertown, lost his life after a pedestrian crash. The wreck happened on the evening of November 17 at around 5:45 p.m.
Reports indicate the incident occurred in Watertown in the 800 block of Washington Street near Park Avenue. Worley was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 headed south.
Authorities identified the driver of the truck as William H. Leslie, age 66. Worley was transported to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment. Staff attempted to resuscitate him but were unable to do so.
Police in Watertown continue to investigate the details of the accident.
