Wesley Chapel, FL – Pedestrian Accident on SR-54 Leaves 1 Dead

Wesley Chapel, FL (July 20, 2023)- On State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel, a tragic accident took place when a woman from Bradenton in her forties was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on July 18, 2023.

When the incident occurred, the Florida Highway Patrol reported that an 18-year-old woman from Lutz was operating a vehicle in the westbound center lane of SR-54.

The collision was caused when a woman from Bradenton was walking northbound on Wesley Chapel Boulevard when she walked into the path of an oncoming vehicle while crossing the street at an intersection with Wesley Chapel Boulevard.

Investigations are still ongoing.
