West Hempstead, NY (February 12, 2023) – A 66-year-old man was left injured as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Friday in West Hempstead.
Just after 11:30 p.m. on February 10, the Nassau County police responded to the scene of a vehicle collision that was reported on Hempstead Turnpike.
Preliminary reports show that a motorcycle and a Honda Civic collided on Hempstead Turnpike during the late evening hours.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police located the 66-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle suffering from significant injuries.
The injured victim received aid from emergency personnel. He was then sent to a nearby hospital for additional medical attention.
The crash is currently being investigated by the police department.
