West Sacramento, CA (September 18, 2023) – A car crash involving two vehicles took place on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway near West Capitol Avenue on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 8:47 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol stated that a silver Mazda and a white and black Corvette were the involved vehicles.
Following the accident, paramedics rushed one individual to the hospital.
Another person was assessed for injuries at the scene.
Both damaged vehicles were towed away from the site.
Investigators are now trying to establish the cause of the collision on the 80 Freeway.
The investigation is still ongoing.
