Westphalia, TX – Auto-Pedestrian Crash on SH-320 near CR-3000 Results in Fatality

Westphalia, TX ( July 14, 2023) – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is actively investigating a tragic accident that occurred early on Thursday.

DPS troopers responded to the scene of an auto-pedestrian crash on July 13th, 2023, at around 5:30 a.m.

The incident took place on SH-320 near CR-3000 in Westphalia.

According to the initial investigation, a Hyundai passenger car travelling southbound collided with a pedestrian.

Regrettably, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
