Wheaton-Glenmont, MD (February 2, 2023) – Authorities were called to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic accident on Thursday afternoon that left one person injured.
At around 3:15 p.m. on February 2, the Montgomery County Police Department was dispatched to a crash on Claridge Road.
According to law enforcement, a teenager was struck by a vehicle on Claridge Road in the area of Veirs Mill Road.
The teen was injured as a result of the accident. EMS responded to the scene to provide care to the victim who suffered injuries. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
