Wheaton, MD (January 8, 2023) – At around 1:20 p.m., on January 7, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were notified that a traffic accident took place in front of the target store on Veirs Mill Road that required assistance.
Preliminary reports show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 11,100 block of Veirs Mill Road in the area near University Boulevard.
The pedestrian suffered injuries due to the crash. Medics responded to the scene to provide care to the injured victim and transfer them to a local hospital.
At this time, the Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the crash.
