White Creek, NY (May 22, 2023) – Five people were transported to area hospitals following a car crash that took place on Friday in Washington County.
On May 19, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Washington County Route 68.
Reports from authorities indicate that a motor vehicle accident took place on the roadway. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn. A total of five females inside the vehicle suffered injuries.
Reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office senior investigator, Harold Spiezio, the victims were identified as being in critical and serious condition. All of the victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. One of the victims had to be airlifted from the scene to Albany Medical Center. The second victim was transported by ambulance to the same hospital. The three remaining victims were transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
