White Oak, MD (March 18, 2023) – A man has died as a result of a pedestrian accident that took place in Montgomery County on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 1:30 p.m. on March 16, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters responded to a crash on Columbia Pike, US Route 29.
Police reports indicate that a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Columbia Pike in the area near Stewart Lane. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway for an extended period.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries due to the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department.
