White Oak, MD (February 18, 2023) – At around 1:45 p.m. on February 16, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that left one pedestrian injured.
Reports from the Montgomery County Police Department show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 11,000 block of Childs Street. Authorities arrived at the scene and secured the roadway near the intersection of Burnt Mills Avenue.
Emergency medical services with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue responded to care for the injured victim and transported them to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
