White Oaks, MD (March 23, 2023) – The Montgomery County Police Department is actively investigating a motor vehicle accident that took place in White Oaks and ended in injuries.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on March 22, the Montgomery County Police Department and the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on New Hampshire Avenue.
Preliminary reports show that a blue Honda sedan and a silver Hyundai SUV collided on the 11,200 block of New Hampshire Avenue. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to roll over and come to rest on its side near Route 29 at the White Oaks shopping center.
One person had to be extricated from the vehicle. One person suffered severe and traumatic injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was rushed to a local hospital by EMS.
The incident remains under investigation.
