Wichita, KS – Pretty Prairie Woman Hospitalized After Crash on KS HWY 54

Wichita, KS (November 19, 2023) – A serious crash on Kansas Highway 54 resulted in a Pretty Prairie woman being hospitalized on Friday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 54 and Thompson St. in Kingman County, east of Kingman.

The woman was turning east onto Highway 54 when a semi-truck, pulling two trailers and traveling eastbound, collided with her vehicle. She was rushed to the hospital in suspected serious condition, while the semi-driver was unharmed. The incident is under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
