Williamsburg, NY (January 09, 2021) – On Wednesday, January 6th, a four-car collision on Merrimac Trail in Williamsburg caused injuries.
A 2001 BMW, heading eastbound along Merrimac Trail collided with a 1999 Toyota pick-up truck. The force of the impact pushed the pick-up into the westbound lanes of Merrimac Trail, where it struck a 2010 Honda Pilot and a 2019 Honda Civic.
The Toyota’s driver, a 53-year-old male from Williamsburg, sustained injuries classified as life-threatening and was airlifted to Riverside Regional Medical Center. He is currently in critical condition and on life support.
The 22-year-old female from York County who was driving the Civic had no apparent injuries. Her Civic, however, suffered significant damage.
The driver of the Pilot, a 53-year-old female from James City County, also had no visible injuries, but later found she had broken her wrist. Her SUV also sustained a substantial amount of damage.
