Winchester, VA (March 19, 2023) – A car accident took place in the Winchester area that ended in injuries. At around 9:10 p.m. on March 15, the Winchester fire department and police responded to the scene of a crash on North Pleasant Valley Road.
According to officials, a collision blocked the roadway in the area near Woodstock Lane. The incident prompted officials to shut down the roadway.
Witness reports show that a black vehicle was traveling north on North Pleasant Valley Road without its headlights on. For reasons unknown, the vehicle crossed Woodstock Lane and collided with the second vehicle.
At least one person suffered injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
