Wise County, VA – Rollover Truck Wreck Reported on US-23 near MM 60

Wise County, VA (July 8, 2023) – Two ambulances were requested to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Wise County. The crash was reported at approximately 6:40 p.m. on July 7.

Police reports show that a semi-truck tractor-trailer was traveling on US Highway 23 while heading toward Kentucky. For reasons unknown, the vehicle crossed over the median and crashed into a second vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the semi-truck to overturn.

Two ambulances responded to the scene to care for injured victims. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for emergency treatment.

At this time, investigations are underway.

We hope the two people injured in this accident recovered quickly.
