Wood County, TX (September 19, 2023) – Moises B. Joribio, 41, lost his life when Maxwell Hunter Lee, 25, rear-ended Joribio’s Toyota Camry.
The incident unfolded three miles north of Mineola on US 69 around 3:50 p.m.
While preparing to turn onto CR 2260, Lee’s Ford Explorer hit the Camry.
Passenger Jesus T. Beltran, 29, sustained injuries and received treatment at UT Health.
The investigation is still ongoing.
