Wyoming, MI (October 25, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning when a 22-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while skateboarding. The incident took place around 1:40 a.m. on Burlingame Avenue SW, close to the intersection with 36th Street.
According to the Wyoming Police Department, the man was skateboarding in the travel lanes when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the location of the crash. His identity has not been released pending notification of his family.
