York County, VA (November 14, 2022) – A 64-year-old man has died following a pedestrian cross that took place in York County. On November 12, the Virginia State Police responded to the site of a traffic accident on Bypass Road.
According to reports, a 64-year-old man was attempting to cross Bypass Road in the area of Route 132 when he was struck by a white sedan.
The man suffered severe injuries in the accident. He was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center, where he later passed away from his injuries.
The Virginia State Police is actively investigating the crash.
