Fire crews encountered heavy smoke and fire emanating from one of the motel rooms and the attic. The fire caused extensive damage to the affected room, and smoke damage was also reported in several nearby rooms and the attic area.
First responders, including paramedics, treated an individual who was injured in the fire. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center. Thankfully, the injuries were not life-threatening, and the individual is expected to recover fully.
