Yulee, FL. – Woman Struck by Logs After Crash with Log Truck on State Rd 200 Leaving her Dead

Yulee, FL. (July 19, 2023)- A 25-year-old woman was killed in Florida when her car collided on state road 200 with a log truck, causing the logs to fall onto her vehicle.

The Florida Highway Patrol estimates that the incident occurred at 12:45 on Tuesday morning, July 18, 2023.

The woman was driving east in an SUV when she collided with a semi-truck hauling logs from the outside lane.

Her car crashed into the back of the truck, sending logs flying into the cabin.

The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital by emergency crews but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The victim’s hometown of Fernandina Beach was revealed.
