Garden Grove, CA (January 5, 2026) – Multiple people were injured in a vehicle collision that took place in the early hours of Friday morning on Chanman Avenue in Garden Grove.
The crash occurred around 3:31 a.m. near the 8600 block of Chanman Avenue, a residential street located just north of Garden Grove Boulevard. Residents reported being awakened by the sound of the impact, prompting several calls to emergency services.
Emergency medical services arrived promptly and rendered aid to the individuals involved. Several people suffered a variety of injuries, and at least one was transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. Authorities have not released specific details about the number or severity of injuries.
A portion of Chanman Ave was temporarily closed while crews worked to secure the scene and remove the damaged vehicles. Investigators remained on-site for over an hour to document the crash and begin assessing its cause.
